Hawthorn Hearth — Program Description

(template — fill in Victoria's confirmed details)

Hawthorn Hearth is a small, home-based early childhood program for children ages 5 through 9, rooted in the rich tradition of arts-based, rhythm-centered, spiritually attuned education. It is led by Miss Victoria Baker, an artist and educator with over twenty years of experience walking alongside young children and their families.

The program runs [days of the week], from [start time] to [end time], following a school-year calendar from [start month] through [end month]. Extended care is available from [time] to [time] for families who need it.

Each day follows a living rhythm of outdoor free play, circle time with seasonal songs and movement, practical domestic work, artistic activity, shared meals prepared together, and a story told from the heart. The festivals of the Christian and seasonal year mark the turning of each season with beauty, preparation, and community celebration.

Group size is kept intentionally small — a maximum of [number] children — so that every child is genuinely known and every family genuinely held.

The program is based at Orca House in North Everett, on the traditional lands of the Coast Salish people. The space includes a covered Story Porch, a year-round wood-heated Lotus Belle Tent, a large fenced yard, and a creative studio — all within and surrounding a home that is over 120 years old.

To inquire about enrollment or to arrange a visit, please reach out to Miss Victoria directly.
