Snohomish County Secular Homeschool Community
This community evolves with the needs of the children. I am a simple homeschool mom who is doing her best to build an open-minded social and educational community for my family and yours. I am a nurse and not good with tech. However, I am a lifelong learner myself, so I try to be patient with updates to the website. The children are my priority, not the technology. I am in the process of holding a more structured Drop off routine on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 am-3 pm. If you are interested please email me.

WELCOME
We are a secular homeschool community that values all faiths equally. Our aim is to connect and become a village with open-minded individuals. Homeschooling alone is hard. Our center is about freedom and respect for children's autonomy in the learning process. There is no set commitment. We homeschool because we want to be able to learn at individualized paces and participate at different levels. Humans/children learn best through play and autonomous choices. Our vibrant and inclusive educational community believes academic excellence, child freedom, and personal growth go hand in hand. Our experienced and dedicated guides strive to find their own interests and strengths and use them to assist children find theirs. Our community social programs provide opportunities for all kids in the community to join us and explore their interests and develop their talents. We are committed to creating an adventurous environment that is not afraid to take risks and trust children with freedom of choice.

Our Mission
The Sonder Life Learners program aims to support the homeschooling community by providing an educational experience with professionals and making a community of highly motivated self-directed adults who can guide young minds in exploring their intrinsic interests. Experiencing the difference between community and activity as we all develop our minds nourishes our bodies and promotes self-awareness and accountability. The program is child-led at its center, the adult guides encourage children to explore their interests and set self-made goals.

Tuesdays
Every other Tuesday we are meeting with families who are interested in a more invested community, with part time enrollment in a paid enrichment program with a waldorf teacher.

This is for parents and students who are interested in joining the fall of 2025 program that will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays
