Your Enrollment Journey
Finding the right place for your child is one of the most important first steps a family can take together. We take community seriously, and we are happy to help answer questions along the way — but you can save yourself a lot of time by reading through the website extensively first. If what you find here describes a program that feels like a true fit for your family — full-bodied, communal, and rooted in the rhythms of the living year — then you are ready to take the first step toward enrollment. The website is our way of introducing our community to you before you ever walk through the door.
Step One — Your Letter of Interest
When Hawthorn Hearth feels like it might be the right fit, send Miss Victoria a letter of interest at Storybasket88@gmail.com using the questions below as your guide. This letter is not a formal application — it is simply the beginning of a conversation. Ask questions. Introduce your family to us.
Step Two — A Living and Ongoing Conversation
Miss Victoria will respond within a few days to arrange either a Zoom call or an in-person meeting. This is a chance for your family and Miss Victoria to meet, ask questions, and get a feeling for one another. Hawthorn Hearth is a small and intimate program, and the relationship between Miss Victoria and each family matters deeply. This conversation is as much for you as it is for her.
Step Three — A Home Visit
If the program feels like a good fit for everyone, we visit each other. No judgments — our families range from earthy to traditional and everything in between. Miss Victoria will arrange a visit to meet your child in their own home environment, because seeing a child where they feel most comfortable and most themselves tells her more than any form can. We share our space with you, and you share yours with us. This is a warm and informal visit — not an evaluation, but the beginning of community.
Step Four — Enrollment
If it feels like a great fit for everyone, we move forward with paperwork. Families complete the full enrollment form and secure their child's spot with a deposit or tuition payment.
